Hightower Storms NeoCon

I had been planning a photo shoot of Seattle Furniture Manufacturer Hightower’s Smith Tower HQ for over a year but they were just too busy to make it happen. Among other things they had decided to open a showroom at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, the site of the Contract Furniture Industry’s biggest Trade show NeoCon, which happens every June. As it turned out they were the talk of NeoCon in 2019, taking both the best small showroom, and best overall showroom category in Contract Magazine’s Best of NeoCon awards. And I happened to be there, as I am every year, shooting for longtime clients Office Insight and KI. Showroom Designer Casey Keasler, of Portland based Interior Design studio “Casework” was onboard with the plan to shoot with only natural light. Everyone was delighted with the resultant images!
