Is this AI or is it real?

Garret contacted me about having some custom portraits done for his website. Inevitably, my first question was, “Do you have examples of what you're looking for?” He had a great example (here). From there, we talked a bit more about his goals, and I went on a scout to find the perfect backgrounds. Below are the results, which are a great testament to what good old-fashioned photography has to offer. Don’t get me wrong—I think AI is astounding, but real live locations and real live situations have something that will never be duplicated by neural nets.
